Who Would Your Non Qb Pick In The Draft Be At #13

Miami needs to go with Devin White, Byron Murphy, Montez Sweat, Christian Wilkins, or T.J. Hockenson at #13 and likely in that order as it stands now.

Love your list. Devin White is a menace. We need that type of player on this defense in the worst way. Now you put White and Fitzpatrick on the same field and you're on to something.

Montez Sweat, showed in those drills at the Senior Bowl practices how the use of hands can be a weapon for a defensive lineman. I loved that he's been studying Martial Arts and it showed in those drills. As a former Martial Artist, myself, I was very proud hearing him speak about it, and how it helps him as a football player. I'm a huge fan of Sweat. He'd be the perfect full time replacement at LDE. Allowing Wake to be the pass rush specialist, if he returns?

I am not saying he's as good, but Sweat had a Julius Peppers look yesterday. Peppers is a hall of fame freak but Sweat can be a poor man's version if you squint hard enough.

Draft a player without a defect this high (Charles Harris). I would be shocked if Sweat isn't a solid player. Like the length, production, presumed athleticism (waiting for combine) and attitude.

for some reason I thought wilkins was undersized. I saw something that said he was 6 foot 4 and 315. I wouldn't have expected that

I was thinking more 6 foot 2 and just under 300 bills

There’s going to be a good amount of talent on the defensive side of the ball @ 13 to not reach for a qb, I say go BPA for someone on that defensive line or linebacker. I think Devin White with his speed would help tremendously against the run and the pass.

Bosa or White......

No Way do I think Bosa falls to 13, although it would be a Dream Come True in My opinion..... :wink
And NO WAY should we pick up another soon-to-be oft injured BOSA. If another team wants him @ 13, TRADE DOWN before they figure out they have the defensive version DeVANTE PARKER.

Don't want anything to do with that family.

Bunch of china dolls. Yes, still very bitter!!! :wink

I saw 6'4 300 on DraftNetwork.com

Not huge but almost prototypical for a 3-4 DE. You think if we go to a 3-4, Taylor and Godchaux can play DE? Then we need a nose tackle like Wilkin's partner (Lawrence).

Why? Why do you do these things to me?

Yeah, but think of all the draft capital we gained, or whatever. Would we have been able to pull off all those 7-9ish seasons without it? Probs not.

yeah that gambling style looks like bait to me. show you one thing and then drive on it ball in flight. but it might be more driven on vision on the ball then actual click and close high level tools. but I saw a few times him put his foot down and come forward and it was explosive and he caught a lb teammate who was probably 10 plus yards in front of him after an int once he turned and got to full gallop in no time. just escorted him in the end zone so I think that top end speed is better than some may expect.

im not seeing hip stiffness or real cod hesitation either which is pretty common with that size.

Great insight, I thought Jackson click and close was special, I'm not seeing that burst consistently with Greedy but I do agree his top end looks better than ppl give him credit for, watching more tape of him, I agree his hips are pretty fluid which I wasn't expecting from him that transition is not the quickest tho,

Good point about his zone flaws being coachable but for some reason I see a lot of guys never get that fixed, probably due to fear of the big play, not trusting their speed and quickness or just low IQ for zone play. If he has a great combine sub 4.45, over 35 vert, sub 6.85 3 cone then those top ten talks will get louder.
