You’re on the clock and another GM calls you...

Then afterwards a super hot porn star knocks on your door and offers to have wild sex with you for as long as you can handle it and gives you a million bucks for the pleasure.
That happened to you too???

Unless I’m misunderstanding, he’s not suggesting trading for the Skins #2. He’s saying the Skins might want another 1st rounder this season (in addition to Young) and perhaps the Dolphins could lure their 2021first rounder for #18 in this draft. And since the Skins aren’t likely to be all that much improved next season, it might be a top 10 pick. Stockpile a 3rd 1st round pick next season in the hopes of having enough resources to trade up for one of 2021’s QB’s.

I don’t believe WASH would go for that, but that’s what it sounds like he suggesting.
Thats correct. thats what I tried to say. Thanks.

Redskins gave up this years #2 to draft Montez Sweat last year and have Ryan Kerrigan (31) on the other side. They are going to a 4-3 defense under Del Rio.

Kerrigan missed the last 4 games with a calf injury but he is also a guy who has averaged 10 sacks per year over the course of 10 seasons. I don't know of many players who can say they've done that.

Bigger needs for them are LT and CB. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that they draft Young at 2. I would think they would love to move down a few spots and pick up extra picks since they don't have a second.

They could drop to 5 or 6 and add a few picks and still pick up a top LT.

If Mayock is willing to give us 11 & 13 plus a 2nd round 2021 pick I say hell to the ****ing yes on that deal!! We will have #11, #13, #18, and #25-32 in the 1st round that is a ****ing steal like no tomorrow. This is going to be the best draft ever boys and girls 14 ****ing picks!!! We can do just about anything we wish to do seriously. All options are open.

And no QB, so none of those picks will matter. Sweet!!

Yup and give me Jordan love at 18

I like it but I need more than 12 and 19 if Tua is in play. If Tua goes 2nd overall, I’ll take 12 and 19.

I’m looking at pick 12, Josh Jacobs and their 2021 1st instead of pick 19. I’m also looking to squeeze out their 4th rounder in a swap for a 5th rounder as well. I want to recoup that pick so we don’t have such a big gap between picks.

I’ll let them keep 19. I want that additional 2021 1st. I’m banking on them not being a playoff team. I like that pick to be lower than 19 and I think it benefits us greatly to start spreading our draft capital over multiple years.

Im assuming this theoretical trade would have to happen while we are still on the clock, to ensure Tua is available. If they want to risk running this trade through before the draft starts, great. I’m calling the Bengals so fast and dangling way more than 99% of you would.

Back to the original point though, Detroit is pulling the trigger on this deal before we would.

Additionally, I’m willing to talk to anyone interested in trading up for Herbert or Fromm at any point if someone wants to make a play for either.

I assume what you really mean is no Tua?

Personnaly, I'd rather not gamble the Phin's future on an Injury prone best case, never the same worst case proposition.

Id tell him that I already traded up to three and ask why he is still calling me several picks later

If we trade down, we can build the D, and by the time Miami fields a decent offense, if it ever does, those players will have a year left on their contracts. Perfect.
I'm a big fan of great D, but if we don't fix the O-line, our offense will not progress at all.

It would appear that Flores knows what he's doing, so I think a balanced approach makes more sense.

It's hard to argue with balance, but balance means different things to different people. Do you mean an even distribution of resources? That'd be like saying you have a balanced diet, because you eat as many candy bars as vegetables.

They need all the draft picks they have the next two years just to fill all the holes on their roster.
Filling holes is what the Fins have been trying to do for 30 years... Maybe someday, someone in the organization will wake the **** up and realize plugging holes mindlessly isnt working...
