If Tannehill is out for the season, the season is done. Put Matt Moore out there, put the Dan Marino statue out there for all the good it will do.

Maybe if the franchise weren't so short-sighted as to have a placeholder/clipboard holder/wannabe journeyman QB on the bench instead of a young and up-and-coming QB who may be able to actually accomplish something this year, the season wouldn't be a waste. But, as it is, the season hinges on whether Tannehill can play (and it's not even preseason yet).

no, not at all, Gase has already proved he taylors his offense around his players strengths. That is what gase would do, put moore in the best position to get us wins

How is it, "No, not at all", when you then go on to explain that Gase would need to tailor the offense for him? Tell me you see the contradiction there.

No reason to believe Kapernick is the best football option. As mediocre as they come
Add in that he is an ass, NO Thanks

Bring someone in and let them try to beat out Moore for the starting job, it's his to lose. I don't think Romo would come here unless he is guaranteed to start (which we shouldn't). Let Cutler or Kaep show they are better than Moore... or not.

God, typing this makes me nauseous.

He's not a great QB, but he's good enough compared to other options available. FYI, I'm pro Matt Moore but if we're going to bring in a vet to compete with him then he's the best option. I can see him having his best season in Gase's offense. Makes smart throws, very accurate short-intermediate, and does not turn the ball over at all. Not to mention the dual threat.

With that said,

1. TANNEHILL

2. Moore + Kap

Can Dan Marino still throw a football? Just curious

So when you're talking Tannehill, wins/losses etc are team stats, but when it's any other QB it's different? :p

You have a good point, but I was referring to just how long he's been in the league and how successful he's been (in the regular season, at least).

He is always hurt... I like Romo but we will be looking for a QB by week 3. Matt Moore has never been a winner as a starter. Kaep has been to a superbowl and is a weapon at QB. He is mobile, had good stats last year and is closer to Tannehill than any other option out here. Most of all, he most likely give us the best chance to win behind this line. I want our team to win and the owner already is saying what I am, as far as signing the guy that will help us win. Ball is in Gase/Griers hands now.
