New GM, same old problems for Dolphins despite cap space

Tell that to Flacco with his knee injury and Brady with his hand injury earlier in the year. I'm not saying it did, but to say that an injury to a Qb's knee or hand can't affect their throwing accuracy is plain ignorant. Especially the first week right after the injury was sustained.

No excuse, get the job done, Brady didn't make excuses about his hand and went out there a won games, Manning on a bad ankle for the 2nd half of the season didn't complain went out there an won games, all QB are in pain and hurting somewhere but they don't use it as an excuse of why they didn't play well and neither should RT...

When did Tannehill use any of his injuries as an excuse for his poor play at the end of the year?

Do you have a quote directly from Tannehill or are you going by something Ian Rapoport wrote?

Armando Salguero wrote a column that specifically said no one was safe...including Philbin.

And that is credible how?

Ross himself came out and said Philbin was safe, DURING the season. And this was straight from Ross's mouth, not some second hand hack beat writer who is known for being one of the worst at what he does.

Ross also said the same thing about Sparano during the 2011 season.

And Ross fired him during that season didnt he. If Ross fired Philbin than you could use that excuse however by using that excuse now its comparing apples to bananas. Point is there is no proof whatsoever that Philbin was on a remote hot seat at all

Are you talking about this one?
No one believes they are 100 percent certain of coming back for 2014. No one believes they are 100 percent certain of being dismissed by Ross. Everyone is walking on egg shells and worried about their status.

Coach Joe Philbin: He is likely safe. Ross likes his head coach and, moreover, must understand that having hired him only two years ago (over San Diego coach Mike McCoy, by the way) his own personal reputation for hiring and firing is riding on this one. As Ross's reputation isn't at an all-time high right now, it could be the owner doesn't want to hurt that further by admitting he made a mistake on Philbin. But one reason Philbin cannot be considered 100 percent safe is because it is believed Ross wants changes on the coaching staff and Philbin does not. So does the owner blink and let the coach have his way? Or does the coach blink? Or do neither blink, in which case Philbin is gone.

Yeah...don't bother reading homers...reality will just depress you all. Everything the guy said has been brought up here. You may not like it, but too bad. Just about everything he said is true.

Tannehill is at risk to lose his job to Moore or, possibly Devlin, and the Sun ain't gonna rise in South Beach tomorrow. Guess I can sleep in not knowing if it's day or night. Good deal. ROTFLMMFAO!!!

PS- I would REALLY love for some of these guys to visit here. That would be special, and they would learn something.

lol, LaCanfora got what he wanted. ESPN just wrote a blog that says according to a report that Ryan Tannehill is on a short leash. Story goes on about how it is bad news for the Dolphins that they are considering benching him in February. Article comments rip the Dolphins for considering benching him and so on and so on. LaCanfora got the attention he wanted and the negative Dolphins attention he also wanted.

Tannehill is not in danger of losing his job at this point. He is the guy and doesn't have to worry about a camp competition.

How long until PFT runs with it and Florio chimes in with his garbage? Probably already happened I'm sure.
