Tannehill would be a good upgrade for the Bengals. Andy Dalton has an arm that isn't capable of making certain NFL throws. The Bengals frequently ask him to throw hard outside and that's when he gets into a lot of trouble. Ryan Tannehill throws hard outside really well. In fact, that was really all he did his first two years in the NFL. You tell him "throw the ball to AJ" and you're going to get a lot of production out of those two.
I could see this making sense, but my guess is he might wind up in Washington. Alex Smith looks like his career might be finished and Jay Gruden wants a quarterback who can put it over the top, execute the scheme, and avoid turnovers.
