Pat White, John Beck, Dante Culpepper, Chad Henne, AJ Feeley, Sage Rosenfelds, Cleo Lemon, Ray Lucas..... I can name a lot more failures than you can successes of that era.

And no, I don’t want a realistic dolphin. I side with the majority of fans who believe the throwbacks should be permanent. They’re one of the greatest uniforms in the history of the league.
Most of the players you named if not all came on after JJ left. And all are offensive players. I I truely believe after building the best defense Miami ever had JJ would have gotten the offense sorted. But life got in the way for him. He left for family reasons and never came back. I respect that. I liked that logo because although it was different from the original, which I loved, it was just an update. And the Dolphin was meaner. This new one drives me crazy. I refuse to wear it. And for those that say it ain't realistic.......:hi:

I’m probably in the minority but I like the new logo. It’s sleek and modern and not as tacky as the old one. I’m a big fan of the real old throwback as well. I like the combo of modern with throwback mixed in. I also like the brighter aqua as opposed to the dark turquoise coloring.

Just bring back the throwback colors to the current uniform, possibly tweak the dolphin a lil and all good lol.

New logo belongs on either a bottle of Cranberry juice or on a box of tampons... most feminine logo in any professional sport.... this includes the WNBA.

Go back to the 60s 70s and 80s logo and unis please.

Yes. Dolphins are usually thought of as being such tough, manly creatures. A bit like Unicorns and ponies

I thought this was already decided and they merely had to wait another year before making the change as there is a set amount of time the NFL mandates before another logo change.

We were what? One vote away from being the Miami Sharks? Freaking Flipper TV Show. Love the team but so wish we were the Miami Makos...

Don't have a clue what a Mako is, but the Miami Dolphins is a good name for a team. People just need to get over the 'feminine v manly Dolphin' argument which comes up regularly - its a bloody Dolphin.

People shouldn't need to support a team called the Virginia Viagra Pills to feel that their manhood isn't threatened.

We can change our logo next year which would probably cause a uniform to the throwbacks or something similar.
From your article:

Unless the Dolphins gave written notice and details thereof to the League of a uniform change last March, they would not be able to bring the old logo back full-time until 2021 at the earliest. That would be two years after they would get their helmetless logo-heads bashed in. What happens when a player gets hurt in a game but wants to go back in? The trainers take away his helmet.

That article was written in August of 2019. So that means they would have had to give notice of a uniform change only a year after making changes to their uniform. And the earliest they could do it would be 2021. That doesn't mean it is guaranteed thing.

Sadly changing the orange counts as a uniform change. It is highly unlikely that they came up with a whole new uniform idea a year after changing it. Especially when there are much more pressing concerns like building a football team after a coaching change.

Also, as was already pointed out, bringing back the old uniform just isn't a smart income soultion. They would be denying themselves a **** ton of money if the throwback became the full time uniform.

Also. Does anyone really want to see a color rush version of the throwback? I really don't think an all orange throwback uniform would look good.
