Looking for another safety because Fitz “can” play CB is absurd
No! It's called leverage and good business sense. If I'm a team's GM then i'm interested in "every player" in the draft including Kyler Murray.
That Cardinals team needs lots of help at practically every position. Guess what? That's going to require lots of draft picks.
Thus, I'm willing to dangle the Kyler Murray, #1 overall draft spot, to all interested parties.
Josh Rosen got destroyed behind that Cardinals OL last season.
How much better is a prospect like Murray going to do? 2-4 games better? Maybe?
So why not get as much as I can for that pick and then use them to sensibly build my team?
Plus it improves the pass rush if you have a corner who can cover longer. Not at all, it's a passing league so potentially having one of the best secondaries in the NFL is a good thing. Try to build a decent DL and you probably have a top 5 top 10 defense as long as the LB's aren't garbage.
It's crazy that a few weeks ago we were debating if Murray would be worth spending the #13 pick and now we are debating how much we have to give up to go get him. so unconventional at his position. I still think he is a high risk high reward prospect and it would be a huge risk to sell the farm for a guy
I wouldn't be upset if drafted a CB at 13 as long as he doesn't suck and is actually a player worth keeping around past his rookie contract and that goes for any position we draft at 13. We need playmakers and difference makers.
Question? Why is it that both Greedy William's and Byron Murphy seem to be dropping in the eyes of some of the online draft analysts? I'm not sure what they are seeing to warrant both players dropping in the 1st round?
